Clinicians at The New York Mental Health Group are licensed and have years of experience working with clients who have significant mental health issues and present as high risk to their community. It is common practice for clinicians to collaborate across various agencies and disciplines regarding treatment progress and risk factors, collaboratively strategize and coordinate services and follow the administrative guidelines and procedures for referral sources for the evaluation and treatment of their clients.
To increase the potential for effective participation in treatment and maximize a client’s potential to effect change, services are delivered in a manner that takes into account individual factors (e.g., the level of functioning, learning style, motivation, psychiatric stability).
